PROGRAMS
Evolving YOUth Yoga
The Evolving YOUth Yoga Program was inspired by the amazing kids I was able to work with through Yoga Haven Las Vegas, a non-for-profit organization providing yoga and wellness for underprivileged youth in Las Vegas.
(Mountain View Elementary School – Ages 6-10, Bruner Elementary School – 1st Grade Classes)
I created this program from a passion I have found in teaching children healthy coping skills through the power of yoga, mindfulness, meditation and music. After participation in these practices, the students have vocalized feelings of relaxation, happiness, focus, strength and respect.
Who is this program for?
– Young children (Ages 3-5)
– Elementary School (Ages 6-10)
Students have vocalized feelings of:
– Relaxation
– Happiness
– Calm
– Focus
– Respect
– Strength

Before returning home to his native Vermont, Spencer worked in top Manhattan kitchens learning the tricks of the trade, honing his craft, and getting to experience a wide range of cuisines. Based out of rural East Topsham, Vermont, Spencer’s main goal with “In The Road” and food in general is to return cooking and eating to a place of loving intention. Not catering to what is “in” but rather to what is in all of us. When we cook food at “In The Road”, we are simply presenting the best ingredients nature has to offer while spinning them into a artful alchemical dance. Food is the ultimate medicine and in that sense this food truck is the ultimate pharmacy.
